You may normally be a domicile of the State where you reside. for details you may contact the office of Collector in your area.

For obtaining a domicile certificate of maharashtra you have to prove that you were continuously residing in maharashtra for a period not less than 10years and you are required to submit the proofs of the same to the concerned authority at the time of submission of the form.
