Legal Question in Education Law in India
Private Educational Institute
I was doing PGDM (Part time prog. for working executives) from a renowned private management institute in Dwarka, New Delhi. I paid a security (caution) amt. of Rs. 10,000/- which was told to be refunded. I had to leave that study without completing it and I applied for that security amount but they have refunded only Rs.9000/- saying that we deducted Rs.1000/- for almuni fund. I have never given any consent to deduct any almuni fund subscription and any such fund was also not mentioned in the prospectus also. Pls help me. I dont want others to be suffered like this.

Re: Private Educational Institute
You may make a request to the organization concerned for refund of the balance amount. It may not be worth for you to consider fighting a legal battle for this refund.
