Legal Question in Education Law in India
In the RTE Rules for states which has been adopted and notified by the state govt., it is written "The scales of pay and allowances, medical facilities, pension, gratuity, provident fund, and other prescribed benefits of teachers, including those employed for the purpose of imparting special training as specified in Section 4 of The Act (RTE Act), shall be that of regular teachers, and at par for similar work and experience."
Can contractual employees/teachers working under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) claim for the above-mentioned benefits to the state govt. based on this?
