Legal Question in Education Law in India

Sleeping partner

Is there any judgement of HC or SC

to back these two words commonly

and loosely used in the context of

Indian partnership firms? I don't

find them in the Indian Partnership

Act. Then how they have into play?

Re: Sleeping partner

These may be used commonly in the partnership deed. The partners may agree among themselves if some of them are not to take active part in running of business.

The partnership deed may be construed as a contract amongst the partners and they may be bound by all the legally enforceable terms and conditions.
