Legal Question in Environmental Law in India
cutting of trees
i live in r k puram. there is a tree in the backyard of my house. Some people from cpwd want to cut that tree. can they do so without the permission of department of environment and forest???? And if they do how many more trees will be planted by them???? and where???

It may be the problem of CPWD.

the tree cutting HAS to be done with the permission of mcd or forest department or it will attract the fine in Lakhs
for rules see the environment act
