Re: Tree Cutting

You may approach the

(a) Forest department; and

(b) Central Pollution Control Board, East Arjun Nagar, New Delhi

immediately with your complaint;

If they do not act fast, you may either file a writ petition before the Delhi High Court or the Supreme Court of India; or may even write letters to the Chief Justice which may be treated as a writ petition.

The tree-cutting is a sensitive issue; it may not be even legally permissible to cut fully grown trees without prior permission of the authorities; and considering the sensitivity in Delhi, the authorities are not likely to grant permission.
