i am 36 i have a son of 13. i have applied for dv in hubli civil court. but the other party i.e., my husband is not giving consent for the dv. so can you show me some ways to get the dv faster.

as per law, DV needs to be disposed off within months but due to overburdening of courts, it may even take years. you may seek early dates by requesting the judge.

What are you going to achieve by filing a petition under DV act ? Do you need divorce or not ? Why should your husband give consent to your DV ? please clarify.

your husband's consent is not necessary. you may ask the judge for expediation of matter
