Legal Question in Family Law in India

Greetings! i am 35 year olfdIndian and my wife is a foreigner. We got married last year. My wife has a child from previous relationship (had not been married and the only legal parent of the child), a 10 year old daughter. we live together and i would like to adopt the child. what is the procedure?
