3 years happened to my marriage and we hardly stayed together for 6 months now she is staying with her parents along with my 2 years kid would like to know the maintence amount after divorce i need to pay to her for the child though she is working
what are the factors fo laws take into consideration in calculating alimony please advice...

you may not have to pay maintenance towards your wife but u r duty bound to maintain yoru son. the calculations are based upon the life style of both the parties and court tries to bring the similarity in standard of living in both husband and wife.
(a) She is entitled to maintain herself as per the same standard of living as was maintained by you at the time of separation. Therefore, if her income is short of that, you may supplement the same by providing sufficient maintenance amount for her upkeep;
(b) The maintenance amount for your son will also depend upon income of both of you.
