Legal Question in Family Law in India
Hi, I am 30 years old lady. I got married to delhi guy in 2002. But the guy and family people were not right. The did the marriage under a conspiracy. They are having sex racket in delhi and they are making fool of gals. But i m not having proof of it. They are criminal people. I lived there for two months only. Then my mother came to know abt all this and some how managed to get out me from them. But the guy is not agree to give me divorce. I filled dowry case and divorce case on the completion of one year of marriage as law demand one year completion. Now it it has already more than 7 years i am waiting for justice and divorce but no result is coming. I lost my father due to these tension in 2004. My mom is having high BP problem and other helath problems also. Now i want to re-settle in my life but not able to do so due to divorce case. WHAT SHOULD I DO??? WHERE I SHOULD LOOK FOR JUSTICE??? PLEASE HELP ME..........

you may ask your lawyer to expedite the matter by taking short dates. why is he not agreeing to give you divorce. is there any child?
Did you demand maintenance etc in your case and whether he is providing you maintenance or not.
Coz if you demand high maitnenance only then he can put his knees down to give you divorce. Else this matter will not settle easily.
Now you can approach to the judge and request him for speedy disposal or you may appraoch High Court to direct your judge to disposs off this matter within fix time.

You should pursue criminal prosecution of the boy and his family under section 498-A IPC and the D.V.A.
