I am 25 years old married ,but got separated with my husband one year ago . our marriage took place in year 2007.now i want to file a domestic violence case my husband and in laws , how to file case against them and where i have to file.

You may make a written complaint, sent per registered post, addressed to the STATION HOUSE OFFICER of your police station, with a copy to the SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE of the district, detailing all the allegations of 'domestic violence' and/or 'cruelty' and seek prosecution of the guilty person/s in accordance with law.

you can file the complaint before the protection office of your district or you can hire a lawyer and file the complaint in the court of magistrate of your area.
