Hi I am a 28 yr old married woman from Virar Maharshtra and my Husband is from from Umergaon in Gujarat, as well as my in-laws, there has been harassment due to which I just lost a child per-maturrely born at 7 months of pregnancy. Now my husband has put a condition that he will accept me only if I leave my job, sell my house in Virar and go and stay with him. I wan to file charges of harassment against my in-laws. Do i have to file a complaint with the police in Umergaon or can I do it in Virar. When i make a police complaint will they be arrested. Also can I file a case under the Domestic Violence Act

there is nothing like saving a marriage. You may talk it out with your husband.
However, legally, you may file a complaint at Virar. Depending upon the allegations, police will take the necessary action including arrest, if required. Yes, in addition, you may file a case under Dom Violence Act.
