adjournment cases clarification

My wife filed DVC case in her native place past 8 months back, still case was running under family court. But every month the case we are getting adjournment(postponing months in a 2 weeks) it's very difficult me to attending the court because am working in private sector job some other city(the journey time almost 10 hours to my wife native place) . For attending the case I am not getting leaves also (I think u guys know about private sector jobs leaves). Please give me suggestion what type procedure to request court to attending the case until getting final judgment.

GOOD AFTERNOON!

It would be preety tough to get exemptions from the court on the credentials of your job.

You can ask your lawyer if he can apply for the exemption from personal appearance.

I would advise you to go for amicable settlement with your wife before you lose your job.

There may hardly be any remedy in law for the problem you have described. You may better consult your local lawyer who is conducting your case.

You may give a serious thought to settle the matter amicably and try reaching an out of court agreement with your wife.
