Legal Question in Family Law in India

I adopted a female child fro my sister in 2004 immideately after birth of the child.and a legal adoption deed was made on the tenth day after the child's birth. Due to some differences my sister got divorce in 2008 and the male child who was born in 2002 is in her custody.now in 2011 her husband and family has filed a case to cancel the adoption .is it possible ,can the deed be cancelled . i'll b greatfull if u can mail me on [email protected]
