can adultery /extra marital affair on part of the wife be used as a defence by the husband in a case filed by the wife under the domestic violence act, 2005?
What is the kind of proof in such a case under the act?
If adultery is proved , will it disentitle the wife for monetary relief?

If wife is in adultery then she cannot make any claim.

well adultery is ground for divorce but still can not give u right to do domestic violence .if u have hurt her in any way than u have to pay monetary relief
