I am Amit aged 25 and married for four years and i have a 3 yrs old daughter. I have never been in a normal relationship with my wife, as she simply doesnt care about me, neither do i care for her. Its like if i am out of station for a month without telling her anything about it, she wont even call and check if i am alive. So i believe that our marriage is baseless and want to get divorced but she and my parents would not be supportive. Is the divorce possible, if so how long will it take? Please help.

U may file divorce on basis of cruelty it may takes time if she give consent then divorce can be taken mutually within 6,months but it req.seperation of more than 1year
as per the facts elaborated by you, no ground for divorce is made out. wife not caring about husband does not mean that she is inflicting cruelty upon him. it is a case of temprament differences and can be sorted out mutually for the sake of 3 years old daughter.
