i am anish and was forcefully married with a women in 1996-97.at that time i was just 11-12 years old and she was 21-22 years old.she always tried forcefully to have physical relations with me.i never had physical relations with her.now her family threatens me to file 498 act.what is law so i can divorce easily.

as you were a child at the time of marriage, as stated by you, the marriage is void. you may seek help of a lawyer to file a suit for declaration.

You have 2 remedies available under the law 1) Your marriage is void because you were a child at the time of marriage and you can proceed against your parents and her parents for forcing you to marry her. 2) make police complaint against the girl and her family.

my ld. friends are right but after attaining age of majority, you did not do anything so you have to file divorce or nullity with the help of local lawyer.
