Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am applying for divorce from my husband. We had a property, primary owner being me and also the home loan with me as the primary. Though we have sold the property some 6 months back, my husband claims that the money from the sale should go to him. The EMIs for the loan were paid from my account. Please advice.

You do not owe him anything. On the contrary you may be entitled to alimony depending upon your situation.
