Legal Question in Family Law in India

I had an arranged marriage and after engagement with the girl i clearly told her that i am not interested in this marriage but she was not ready to break the engagement and we also never exchanged any love letters or calls during this time.After and before marriage we also never ever had any physical relationship.Its been a year we are married and live separately and i want to get a divorce.I also never took any dowry from her and she took all her gifts and items with her.She is already having a good job and earns decently.I am also ready to pay all the expenses incurred for the marriage and engagement but her family asking for more a compensation for her entire life.I don't have any property of my own as everything is registered on my parents name.In this case can they she ask for my share on my parents property and any other compensation?

In case you dare now to give her divorce....why didnot you do that after / before engagement? "The girl did not want to break"- Did you want too? is it required to hav the consent of both to break the engagement? Think once what you have done

You can better contact an advocate and get the marriage declared as null and void or go for mutual consent divorce in court of law.
