Legal Question in Family Law in India

While attending trial court date my father inlaw came with payada .And i saw datsi summons of sce12 domestic voilence,but i denial to take the summons.Father inlwas always present in court when we have trial court date.He harrasing us &come;with new false case summons.Her daughter staying in delhi &she;file case from parental house.His father use to be steno to ssp in amritsar.he using all his law brains against us.pls help us to get rid of all these false cases& suggest wat to do.or can i written mental harasment complain against father inlaw to higher authorities for putting false cases.pls suggest.And wat is sec 12 domestic voilence?is this criminal offence.what precaution req in this act?
