Legal Question in Family Law in India

We already booked against my son-in-law 498A arrested and came on bail.

Now Domestic violence case filed against their family.

Now again to take back the dowry amount (without asking divorce)

from their parents can my

Parents put petition in court against 406 section on their parents.

Is it required to register case in police station or directly can we

Send lawyer notice for refund to their parents.

Pl. advise sir we are hindu family.

generally 406 is also actionable along with 498a. you may move an application before the court where 498a is pending and also include 406 as another offence in the same f.i.r.

Your FIR u/s 498-A is already before the court. In the same FIR you may file an application for return of istridhan.
