First of all, you need to provide us complete facts in chronological order. We need to know what happened during married life of four years. When the person lost his job and what is the latest position of sickness and income; when did she leave the house; what is her financial status?

Your options on the given statement may possibly be worked out only after knowing what you want? You may need to provide maintenance to wife and the child. It may be better if you start making them payment before any court order is passed.

Since she has already lodged FIR, you might have retained a lawyer for defence.

You should write a complete statement of facts for appropriate guidance.
