Legal Question in Family Law in India

my brother was married before 12 year and after 2 years of marriage he is suffering from psychophrenia since last 10 years. his wife does not lives with him and she don't accept him or ignore to take care of him, my mother who is staying with brother is a pensioner and take care of him. who will take care of him once she is no more. later if his wife come to take possession of home and other assets then what will we do. when last 12 years I am taking care of mother and brother, please suggest. what to do?
