Legal Question in Family Law in India
We are three brothers and a sister, one of my brother has no children who has acquired aggricultural land (in 1972) after all are married and separated. He and his wife died in 1984 and 1998 respectively without making any will or settlement, since 1998 (after their death) the property was in the possession of my brother and myself and paying the sist without any dispute between us. Recently, my sister started to demanding share in that property which was acquired by my brother after her marriage. Is she legal heir to claim the property which was in out hand for morethan 15 years, please advice legalties in this context.
