Legal Question in Family Law in India
Change in visitation
When I and my wife divorced our daughter was only 15 months old. The court granted limited visitation of one sunday a month for 4 hours. Now that the child has grown and is 3 years old, can I request for increase in the visitation time and also get block of days when the child can stay with me?

Re: Change in visitation
You may move to the concerned court for the modification of the order with your pleas. Court may increase the visiting time but as regard the stay of the child, I am doubtfull that the court will allow your request as the child is still very small/infant and generally such age of child mostly depends on mother's breast feed.

Yes, you can make an application to the same court who passed the decree and request for modification of the earlier order in the changed circumstances.
Re: Change in visitation
you may surely be able to spend more time with your child by moving an application for modification of earlier order. the child requires the attention of you both. moreover now the child understands your importance and courts would definitely understand the importance of modifying the order.
