Re: Changed religion from Hindu
first write back if your wife is a Hindu only or not, if not, then in any case, you cannot marry her under Hindu Marriage Act but only Special marriage Act.
Please clarify your query
Re: Changed religion from Hindu
You have not specified what specific problem You want to be advised about. Is your wife or yourself seeking divorce? If so whether the intention to seperate is mutual or not? What about the custody of Children? What about the properties betwen You and Your wife? Where You and Your Wife are living now? How did You change your religion, that is by what mode? When You and Your wife were married and is your wife Hindu or not? Did you register your marriage in India?
IT should be possible for you to get a divorce without going to court based on certain factual inputs and answers to the above question.
For a detailed professional written opinion specific to your problem, please answer the above questions completely and send your query by email alongwith Opinion Fees of Rs 15,000/- payable by money transfer to my account.

Re: Changed religion from Hindu
Normally, since you married under the Hindu Marriage Act to a UK citizen, while you being still a Hindu, any subsequent change in religion will not affect the marriage. However, you have not stated as to whether you married by performing "Sat Phera"{ etc, and/or whether your such marriage was registered in India.
