Cheating against - Marriage

Hi, i am in love with one guy since 2yrs. We also decided to get married thought our parents against to our marriage we also planned to marry in Feb 2009. Now the guy says tat my parents are not accepting i cant marry you. I want to put a cheating case on him please suggest.

You cant unless you have something in writing or other documentary evidence.

I would advise you to discontinue your committed relationship and start a new day with your new life.

a guys promises to marry but unable to marry because of his parents, is no ground to invoke criminal jurisdiction. better forget that boy and carry on with life.

If you have sufficient proof then go ahead and file case u/s 420 IPC.

You may file a criminal case of cheating against him and/or his family if the boy has established physical relationship with you with a promise of marry at a later date and is now backing out.

For making a case of "cheating" you may be required to establish some wrong done by him and the harm suffered by you. Otherwise, simple promise to marry and then changing decision/mind may not be an offence.
