It is known fact that the boy is born from Hindu father and he is still minor hence you have or nobody has any right to convert him from Hindu to non hindu. You have wait till he attained majority to take his consent.

Baptisim certificate will not be acceptable in school.

You have also no right to give him adoption to christian or non hindu as you have changed the Hindu religion also. For further query conect me or any lawyer

The issue of custody is usually decided by the court at the time of gratning a decree for divorce. In normal course, the custody of the child is join even though the child may be living with mother; the natural father is entitled to visitation rights and can also object to baptisation of the child to Chritian religion. The adoption of the child cannot take place with his father's consent. Please write me back with details of decree of divorce and father's stand/court order about custody of child. Sudershan Goel
