Clarification DVA
Hi, My wife file a DVA case under this case she blamming me & my family members .So my clarification how i can face this case, how many days it will take to close DVA case. and one more clarification Under DVA case what are rules should be consider. Please let me know

It is expected of the court to dispose it off within 60days under the Act but practically it may take time. You can file your say thru an advocatein the court.The advocate will guide you in respect of rules etc as it is not possible to answer such lenghty questions here.

under Domestic Violence Act complaint a female, be it wife, daughter, mother, or even a keep, can claim right to residence in the shared household, maintenance, compensation for the mental and physical injury caused and other order viz. restraining the husband or any male member from entering the place of work or residence etc...u need to go through her petition to find out what all relief is she claim and then accordingly have ur defence. where is ur case pending.

There is no time limit within which the case/litigation may come to end. You should better try for an amicable out of the court settlement of the entire dispute to avoid further loss. The DVA case is pursued under Domestic Violence Act 2005
