Whats the cost of an Anticipatory bail in Punjab inregards to section 498a and how much time does it takes to get this bail
Can this bail be used for protection in UP also ?

Anticipatory bail in connection with Section 498A is passed after a trial hearing by the Judge. The time limit depends on when the case comes up for hearing.
Yes, the bail can be used for protection in UP as well but you will continue to remain a deemed convict in the eyes of law.

you may get bail immediately even before registration of FIR in Punjab.
