counceling in divorce case

Both belong to hindu religion.Is it ture that in any divorce or judicial seperation case under HMA judge first try to reconcile the spouse by counceling and if even after counceling spouse decides to continue his or her divorce or judicial seperation case then only judge give judgement?in everycase judge first try to bring the spouse togather by providing counceling is it true?
