Cousin Marriage

Are all cousin-marriages among Hindus in many parts of South India (and some parts of North India illegal under Special Marriage Act (and Hindu marriage Act)?

You should better check up with your prevailing customes in your caste and religion but as far my knowledge it is a illegal marriage its strictly prohibited and restricted and if you marry also then its a null and a void marriage.

Validity of all marriages depends upon the customs and usage prevaling in the society. So if there is a custom or usage of marriage interse family members, then such marriage is valid.
