Hi My Name is CP.
I got married in 2008 and have 15 month baby girl with me.
My Question to you.
* My wife is not happy with me and wants separation.
* Can we get divorced ?
* With whom does child custody remains.
* I want to have my child as my wife is not earning and i do not want to give her any alimony.
Request you to kindly help me get the above answer.

in case you communicate with the parents of the girl and convince them that the relationship would not work and seek amicable settlement, you may retain the custody of the child. its better to sort this matter out .....out of court.

If your wife does not have sufficient income to support herself, you may not be able to escape your responsibility from payment of alimony to her.
Normally, the custody of a child upto the age of 5 years should be with mother.
You may need to re-orient your thinking and prepare yourself to give the child to your wife as also arrange maintenance amount for her and the child.
