Custody of Child
One of my friend has recently seperated from her husband due to physical and mental harrassment, with 7 year old daughter. The husband and wife are now attending a legal counselling. Now the husband has filed for custody of the child. what chances does my friend has to get the custody of her child? What should be her course of action?

Since the child is below age od majority, subject to your capity to maintain the child you have all the possibility to retain the child until the child attains majority. You can effectivelly defend you ex husband's demand for custody of the child stating that the child being a female you alone can maintain her with due care and attention. The court will take into account the child's wishes alo.
