Legal Question in Family Law in India

My daughter was in France and my son-in-law treated her shabilly and in some scenario's beated her also badly. He tortured her with out giving any food, phone any provisions and one fine day he came to Delhi and filed for divorce putting a character damage on my daughter. Later my daughter said all of the neighbours know about these things and when i spoke to them they said so many things apart from what i have mentioned above like he use to discuss about his sex life etc and so other things which i can't put it here, even they warned him that's the reason he came back to delhi all of a sudden, now all of France neighbours are ready to give witness against him even through video conference, how i can do that in the court, they have already sent a notarized letter stating these facts, almost like 8 people have signed it. I need to punish this guy by indian law how i can proceed on this...... one more thing he used to provoke him by saying bad words and then record those things when she shouted him back... he clearly planned those things for getting divorce looks like (this was also qutoed by one of the France neighbour)..... How much effective are those audio recordings?

these affidavits of the neighbours are good evidence and can be used effectively in a litigation. you can file the complaint case on behalf of your daughter as the law has granted you this privilege. as the complaint would be filed by your, your daughter may not have to visit india. these audio recordings of your son in law may not be effective as it is not the recordings that the court looks into but also the intent for which they recorded.

audio recordings are corroborative evidences and not conclusive in itself. you will have to prove the offence by other evidences.
