Legal Question in Family Law in India

Dear attorney,

my husband left me and refused to accept me back . iam planning to put dva and file for divorce .

i came across this website and went thru the q'ns and answers.....i learnt that the defence for DVA is RCR (thats what is adviced and used as a defence tool)...,. my query is:

1) .its been 8 months since we stay seperately. should i wait for my husband to file a divorce? because if i file dva and divorce then he may Issue RCR . and i dont want to reconcile with him.

even if he files RCR case you may defend the same.
