Legal Question in Family Law in India
Dear Law professionals,
Please tell is it possibel for a wife to get transfer her 498a case to another city in different state reason showing as employment moved to another city.
If she can do so, please let me know the procedure.

498A case has to be tried by the court which has the jurisdiction over the police station which has registered the case. It can not be transferred. The Supreme Court, though has powers to do such transfer. Since it is a matter of just convenience, in my opinion, in this case Supreme Court may not even do so.
