dear sir, i m going to file a case of divorce against my husband on grounds of mental,physical torture and dowry , i would request you to guide me that if i m eligible for the maintenance and the alimony .Along with this i have another query that can my sister in law and her husband who were deeply involved in the torture become the party with my husband and his parents ? Also that the marrige proposal was brought to us by a close common family friend who was well aware of their malefic intentions , how far can he be held responsible in this case for spoiling my life intentionally ?

Yes, you are entitled to alimony and maintenance. you may also file a criminal complaint of cruelty against those who caused you any kind of torture. the person who brought the marriage proposal may not be accountable for post-marriage consequences.
