Dear sir i am a married women and i have a boy .my husband who is not with me since last 3 years and till then i leave with my parents .and in this period he never try to contact with me .sir when i leaved with him he did all the things with me which was not to do and never want to do any type of work for survive he sold all the precious things which is given by my parents on my marriage after that he lied that he dint sold that things ,and when he took wine he used to unscrupulous language for my parents and for me and also used to physical harassment with me and in all the things his parents also support him and now after 3 years i decided i want divorce pls guide me how can i take legal step against him

You may apply for divorce before the concerned Family Court of your area. You may also seek appropriate relief under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

Dear Madam

You can get divorce on grounds of cruelty and desertion,secondly i advise you to file domestic violence case against him ,And claim maintenance.for herself and child file dowry case against him under section 498-A of IPC
