Legal Question in Family Law in India
Dear Sir,
In a DV case, which I am fighting since last 3 months, I want to know if I collect some written statement from my relatives & neighbors that �our relations were very strong and full of love �..� but some neighbors can not visit court as witness due to their job or business.
In such case, whether these statement will help me in the court to defence that there was no such domestic violence.

no, witness must depose before the court. In rare circumstances, the court may allow to record the statement by local commissioner. However, that is when the person is too old or sick
