Legal Question in Family Law in India

Dear Sir,

One of my childhood friend is in serious trouble.. He had fallen in love with a girl, the girl's family pemanently got shifted to Kotputli, Rajasthan. So, the girl had come to kolkata to marry my friend for which she was here for more than a month. They did court marriage on 16-may-2012.. Since den the girl is in rajasthan.. All was smooth until the girl's family decided to get her engaged to the man from whom her father had loaned money and was unable to payback. On so the girl told her family that she is already married, but her family and her fiance got her engaged knowing she is married.. The girls family have cut her communications past 3 weeks.. My friend recieved a call this saturday from her stating all the above and said her phone is in her fiance custody. Right now my friend is unaware of wat is going on there in rajasthan.. He is nt sure if d girl will stand wit him if he tries to get her back.. what legal help can my friend avail. If there is any NGO or govt organisation to help.

If you can guide us on dis issue.. your suggestions will be valuable.

I hope both the girl and the boy are in the age of majority. Your friend can file a Habeas corpus writ petition before the High Court to get the custody of his wife.
