Dishonouring and disobaying court order

Dear sir, please let me know whether dishonouring a court decision be treated as a contempt of court and is punishable under law?

"Disobedience" of a court order may constitute Contempt of Court. The correct interpretation of "disobedience" may depend upon language of the order and facts of your case.
