I want to dissolve a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) who's karta is my husband Amit Khurana . Since I dont feel that he is any good to be Head of family , I want to remove my and my son's Prathmesh Khurana's name from it . Also I want to
change my sone's name from Prathmesh khurana to Prathmesh . Since I dont want my son to hold my Husband 's family name.

Issue legal notice to the Karta, file a suit for partition of the property held by the HUF.
Change of name is possible.

Yes you can remover the karta by issuing a legal notice to him and claming your share in the property hold by HUF
yes you can change the name of ur son... for this you just need to make an affidavit for change name and publish a notice in local newspaper regarding the change name...
