Legal Question in Family Law in India

Divorce & Alimony

I have got a divorce from my spouse 20 years ago on mutual consent. No alimony was paid as the court did not direct to do that. Now she claims alimony and is applying pressure through many friends and relations to re-marry. Will she able to claim anything legally?

Normally, She got to be kidding! unless you have left room at the time of settlement. So, you may have to refer to the statement made before the court at the time of first and second motion.
