Legal Question in Family Law in India

Divorce & alimony

My wife had suicide attempt before marriage (I have no evidence as this was hidden from me) as well as within a year after marriage.

1. How do I gather evidence of suicide attempt before marriage to make my case strong for divorce and less alimony?

2. If I file for divorce but if my wife is strongly against divorce can the court award her alimony without granting me divorce?

3. Since I am an NRI and do not get much leave, how many minimum hearings do I have to attend? Can lawyer fight entirely on my behalf and can I guide my lawyer sitting abroad via email and send him the relevant documents and only attend one final hearing?
