Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am going for a divorce , my annual income is 65 lacs and have a own flat. My wife is asking for maintainance...can she claim 50% of my assets... she is working and earns 25k per month. i dont hav a child what is the kind of money i can be expected to pay ??

Taking above facts into consideration, you may be required to pay at least 1/3 alimony to your wife but if you are going to hire a lawyer he will minimise the amount of alimony.

in your situation, when she herself is earning, she may not get the maintenance. however, you need to ascertain that by hiring effective lawyers..
