Legal Question in Family Law in India

I got divorce from District Court, and my wife filed First Appeal to high court against the judgment. The Appeal was admitted but stay order was not granted. Because there is no stay on the lower court judgment, can I remarry after one year of lower court judgement?

once the appeal is admitted, the remarriage cannot take place unless the appeal is decided by the high court. there is no provision of stay in such appeals.
