divorce filed by husband in 2008. then i file transfer casein2009 case transfer in 2010 after case transfer he is not attending case not giving maintainance to me how i legaly force him to attend court & give my maintainance.give your advice.

Can I give apower of attorny to father so that he can attend the case & submit documents on my behalf & can file the cases regarding recovery of maintainance. on my behalf.

Madam Ji:

Yes, you may do so by giving a power of attorney to your father. He may represent you in the court but for evidence you willl have to appear yourself. Your father cannot give testimony on your behalf. he may be an independant witness to support you. You need not appear on every date if your father is representing you along with lawyer.
