Divorce u/s 14 of HMA
Respected counsels, If I file a divorce petition u/s 14 of HMA (citing exceptional hardship) and the opposite party though deny the allegations but giving consent for divorce in the court will the court ask for filing mutual divorce petition. Or will the court accept the petition and grant divorce.
Petition need to be filed within one year of marriage.

in case the opposite party is giving consent for mutual divorce, it is advisable to go for that instead of wasting years to contest the case. sec. 14 is a mere application for waiving the period of one year and you need not level any allegations in that. the courts nowadays are liberal in accepting the petitions even within one year of marriage. you may call upon me at 9811284735 in case u need further guidance.

The same very petition may be allowed by court dissolving the marriage.
