Yes, of course, In dian Christians can apply for and get divorce under the Special Marriage Act.

The mutual consent divorce is also possible for Christians, the conditions thereof are a little different from the other Acts. I also beg to differ with all my learned colleagues. Special Marriage Act is not applicable in this case. My opinion is, however, limited to direct consultation.

The christians can go for divorce by mutual consent but not under Special Marriage Act. This act has no application. For christians it is Indian Divorce Act, which is applicable.
